Our Summer CSA is open to residents throughout the Baltimore region, but please note that our pick-up locations are Northeast Baltimore City sites.  Items in our shares change as the season progresses, so expect a variety of produce from start to finish!

Duration

Real Food Farm’s Summer CSA program will now run for 22 weeks from May 9th to October 3rd.

Shares

Full shares consist of 6-8 items/week.  Half shares consist of only 3-4 items/week.  Shares will be PRE-PACKAGED this year.

Cost

CSA members are asked to pay in full up front.  Please note that rates increase after March 1st.

Real Food Farm offers a 20% reduced rate and a weekly installment payment plan (with a deposit to be returned at the end of the season dependent upon full participation) for those receiving federal food assistance such as SNAP (EBT) and WIC.

BEFORE MARCH 15th:

Full Share: $500

Half Share: $275

EBT/WIC Full Share: $18/week + $50 deposit

EBT/WIC Half Share: $10/week + $50 deposit

AFTER MARCH 15th:

Full Share: $525

Half Share: $300

EBT/WIC Full Share: $19/week + $50 deposit

EBT/WIC Half Share: $11/week + $50 deposit

Pick-Up 

Pick-up is every THURSDAY between May 2nd and September 26th.  Shares will be pre-sorted this year but members are required to bring their own bag or box to transport their share home. Shares may be picked up at:

• Real Food Farm^ 12pm-3pm
• Lake Montebello Market^ 5pm-7pm
• Fleet St. Market @ 2001 Fleet St 2-8pm
• Apples & Oranges Fresh Market @ 1900 N. Broadway 3pm-8pm (Round out your share of veggies with grains, dairy and other staples!) 
• Our Cafe Sage location has been changed to Baltimore Bicycle Works @ 1813 Falls Rd 1pm-7pm
• Other sites TBD if there is enough interest and a community member willing to take on the role of ‘Pick-up Captain’.  Please contact rffcommunity@civicworks.com to learn the responsibilities of being a Pick-up Captain.

Thread Coffee

Real Food Farm is partnering with Thread Coffee this year to offer a share of locally roasted coffee beans in addition to our produce CSA shares.  There are three different share options:

1lb/week (22 lbs total): $250

.5lb/week (11 lbs total): $150

1lb/month (5lbs total): $60

Interested in using your EBT to purchase a coffee share?  Send your questions to rffcommunity@civicworks.com.

Coffee shares will be available for pick-up at the same location you select for your vegetable share pick-up.  If selecting this option, please submit ONE check with the total of both shares when submitting your application and payment.

Full Share: 1 bunch of beets, 1 bunch of chard, 1 eggplant, 1 cucumber, 1 head of garlic, 1 box of squash blossoms, 2 bell peppers, 1 bunch of radishes

Half Share: 1 bunch of beets, 1 bunch of chard, 1 eggplant, 1 cucumber

Week B

Full Share: 1 bunch of easter egg radishes, 1 qt of peppers, 3 sweet potatoes, 1/2lb bag of endive, 1 qt of tomatoes, 2 eggplant, 1 pt okra, 1 cucumber

Half Share: 1 bunch of easter egg radishes, 1 qt of peppers, 3 sweet potatoes and 1/2lb bag of endive
